Captain

Say the outcome. Captain runs the crew.

Say the outcome. Captain runs the crew.

Captain turns what you ask for into a plan, starts a session for each part, and keeps every agent’s status beside the conversation.

Captain turns what you ask for into a plan, starts a session for each part, and keeps every agent’s status beside the conversation.

Plans and splits the work. Each task goes to the agent and model that suits it.

Steers while it runs. Switches accounts, retries, and moves stuck work along.

Reports back. What changed, what ran, what passed.

Auto research

Name a metric, set a budget. Agents run experiments and keep the changes that move it.

Review and mend

Review threads and failing checks go back to the agent that wrote the code, with the fix asked for.

Self-healing

Parallax notices stuck sessions and repairs itself, and a doctor scan explains what it fixed.

Questions, answered.

Questions, answered.

What is Parallax?

A Mac app, with a small daemon underneath it, that runs your coding agents. Tell Captain the outcome you want; it splits the work across Claude Code, Codex and the other agents you use, watches every session, and brings back the pull requests with their checks.

Can I bring my own agent?

Yes. Parallax installs Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, Gemini CLI and a dozen more for you. An agent you run yourself, such as a Grok bot or Hermes on a VPS, connects with a token: it can message your crew, and it can take Captain’s seat.

Do I need new subscriptions?

No. Parallax runs each agent in the harness you choose, with the subscriptions and API keys you already have. Its router can also pick a model for you; Models lists those prices.

Where do the agents run?

On the machine running the Parallax daemon: your Mac, a Linux box on your tailnet, or a cloud machine. The Mac app and the phone are both windows onto that daemon.

Is there a phone app?

Yes. Open phone.parallaxagents.dev in your phone’s browser, scan the pairing code your Mac shows, and it reaches your machines through an encrypted relay.

Which platforms does it run on?

macOS on Apple silicon and Intel, as a signed and notarized app that updates itself. Linux on x86-64 and arm64 with one install line. On Windows, run the Linux install inside WSL2.

Will agents merge code without me?

You decide. Settings set how much agents do on their own, from asking before each step to merging a pull request once its checks pass.

Start one agent or thirty. Captain keeps them moving on your machines, and your phone tells you when one needs you.
